Which is a shame, since the buttons themselves are spaced very nicely and have a great feel to them. Toggling the analogue control seemed to do very little to alleviate this problem. In games like R-Type where fine control is essential this is an instant deal breaker. So you have to move the stick a certain amount for anything to be picked up. There seems to be a "dead zone" between where you move and where it actually picks up the control. The analogue/digital stick proved very quickly to be unresponsive. Sadly enough, I've seen controllers neglect this.The real reason I bought this was for R-Type Final, one of the best new Shmups since Ikaruga. Pretty cool, and it means that the Shadowblade isn't useless if a game only supports one or the other. The other REALLY nice thing about this stick is the fact there's a cavity on the bottom of the stick where you can stow the cable so the stick is easy to store and nice to display. Its a pretty matte and shiny black (rendered horrible looking by my ghetto flash) and it only cost me a few bucks. I was curious as to how much a replacement drive would cost me for my PC at home, which has a 17gb drive in it. I was in WalMart last night, and I swung by the Electronics area.
